A mission hospital in Harare, operated by an international healthcare organization, required a reliable high-capacity sterilizer for their surgical department. After evaluating multiple suppliers, the hospital procurement team selected Stertek’s STH-EV300 horizontal vacuum autoclave — a 300-liter cylindrical model with a built-in vacuum pump and steam jacket for efficient steam penetration and fast drying cycles.

Understanding the hospital’s need for long-term reliability in a demanding environment, Stertek customized this unit with an imported Speck vacuum pump from Germany. Compared to standard pumps, the Speck pump offers significantly longer service life, quieter operation, and lower failure rates — reducing maintenance downtime and after-sales costs for the hospital.

The order was processed and shipped under CIF terms to Harare Port. Our team provided the full suite of shipping documents including Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, and Packing List for seamless customs clearance. Remote installation guidance and operator training were delivered via video call after the equipment arrived on site.

The autoclave has been successfully installed and commissioned, providing dependable sterilization for surgical instruments and supporting the hospital’s mission of serving the local community.
