Project Overview
An international medical equipment distributor based in Switzerland approached Stertek with a requirement for a complete sterilization package destined for a medical facility in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The order combined three essential CSSD components — high-temperature steam sterilization, low-temperature plasma sterilization, and instrument drying and storage — forming a fully functional sterile processing workflow in one shipment.
The STH-HV100 horizontal autoclaves (2 units) handle routine steam sterilization with vacuum drying for wrapped surgical packs and porous loads. The STL-PC130 cassette-type plasma sterilizer provides low-temperature hydrogen peroxide sterilization for heat-sensitive instruments such as endoscopes, cameras, and electronic devices. The STD-O250 drying cabinet ensures sterilized instruments remain dry and ready for immediate use.
This order was processed under EXW terms from Stertek’s warehouse. The client’s nominated freight forwarder collected the goods and arranged road transportation from China to Uzbekistan — demonstrating the flexibility of Stertek’s logistics arrangements to accommodate clients with their own shipping partners. All three units were packaged in export-grade plywood cases suitable for long-distance overland transport.
